We are thrilled to be joined by Matt Gofton, Employer Solutions Manager from The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) the professional body for HR, Learning and Development. 

This focused workshop is designed to equip people managers with the essential tools to navigate change with clarity, empathy, and confidence. Participants will learn how to translate organisational messages into clear, actionable insights for their teams, while using emotional intelligence to engage and motivate individuals. The session also links communication to accountability, learning, and fostering a coaching culture.

By the end of the session, participants will:

  • Understand the importance of clear, consistent, and timely communication during change.
  • Learn practical techniques to break down complex organisational messages into bite-sized, relatable team actions.
  • Explore emotional intelligence tools for navigating different personalities, motivations, and communication styles.
  • Discover how effective communication ties into performance management and building a culture of learning and accountability.
  • Recognise the role of managers in championing a coaching culture where individuals share expertise, learn from each other, and feel empowered to contribute.

This session will include a 30 minute presentation and a 15 minute Q & A section.
