Tackling aggression in the workplace
When: Thursday 4 December 2025, 11:00 - 11:45
Location: Online
We’re delighted to be joined by Professor Roberta Fida, Aston Business School, for an insightful webinar exploring how to prevent workplace aggression and create a culture of dignity and respect.
Why this matters
Recent research by Aston Business School (part of Aston University) shows that aggression at work – including bullying, harassment, incivility and discrimination – remains a serious issue, with one in four UK employees reporting conflict or abuse. The impact is significant, affecting both wellbeing and organisational performance. Professor Fida and her team have developed an evidence-based toolkit offering practical ways to prevent and manage workplace aggression.
What the webinar will cover:
- Introduction to the new toolkit and interactive dashboard developed for real-world use in organisations
- A walk-through of the “Multi-Factor Prevention Framework” outlining three levels of intervention: culture, early response and recovery
- Insights on how HR, OD and EDI professionals can map current practices, identify gaps and measure progress
- An open Q&A session to discuss your experiences and ideas
This session will include a 30-minute presentation and a 15-minute Q&A.
