The EmpowerHER event stands as a testament to the resilience, innovation, and remarkable leadership of women across the region. With over 100 attendees gathered at the creative Custard Factory in Digbeth, the evening proved to be a true celebration of female achievement and empowerment!

On the main stage we had Shazia Mirza, an Award-Winning Presenter, Comedian, and Writer. She filled the room with an electric energy that set the stage for a night of laughter and inspiration. Shazia's comedic sketch "Laughing Our Way to the Top" not only entertained but also delivered a poignant message about the importance of humor and resilience in leadership.

Laura Shoaf, in her keynote speech, shared her personal journey to becoming CEO of the WMCA, offering invaluable insights into overcoming challenges and fostering leadership within the community. Her authenticity and wisdom resonated deeply with attendees, inspiring both seasoned leaders and emerging talents alike.
