Marketing consultancy Leopard Co strengthened its regional profile and generated new business opportunities through a series of high-impact events at the 2026 West Midlands Business Festival.

By hosting three well-attended sessions at its Birmingham headquarters, the agency engaged senior marketers, business leaders and founders in practical discussions focused on driving growth through more effective marketing.

Celebrating “growth without limits”

The 2026 West Midlands Business Festival ran from February 2 to 13, offering a two-week programme of free events which brought our business community together to ignite innovation, share expertise and spark collaboration.

The theme for the 2026 event, the second to be held, was “growth without limits”, focussing on unlocking opportunities and supporting ambitious businesses to succeed and scale.

The festival was delivered by Business Growth West Midlands, the one stop shop for business support in the region. The 2026 festival included 110 free events, attracting 6196 registrations. 96 per cent of attendees said they would attend another festival.

About Leopard Co

Leopard Co is a Birmingham-based independent marketing consultancy, founded by Rachel Roberts and Anthony Tattum. The agency combines behavioural science, strategic thinking and creative execution to deliver integrated campaigns across paid, earned, shared and owned media, helping brands turn marketing into measurable business growth.

How Leopard Co supported the 2026 West Midlands Business Festival

Leopard Co hosted three events at its Bennetts Hill offices, each designed to address real-world marketing and business challenges, blending practical insight with perspectives from brands, agencies and industry bodies including the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, WPR Agency and Aldi.

The first was entitled PR Masterclass: Showcasing the effectiveness of PR to help boost business reputation, followed by a session called Grow Faster in 2026: The Science-Backed B2B Marketing Playbook then Loving Your People: Love Them Madly, Manage Them Wisely, an event looking at HR related topics Leopard Co Chief Marketing Officer Anthony Tattum said: “We wanted to run events because we know they create conversations and conversations are where growth starts.

“Too much marketing advice is either too theoretical or too tactical. Our focus was on creating sessions that were practical, evidence-based and genuinely useful for businesses trying to grow.

“The response, particularly the number of registrations and fully booked sessions, shows there’s a real appetite for that.”

Benefits of hosting a West Midlands Business Festival event

Leopard Co saw the Festival as a great opportunity to grow brand awareness, says Anthony.

“We are a fairly new brand with an exciting growth trajectory so we felt we got a lot from the first year because it was a platform to show our expertise.

“We wanted to build our reputation and felt we had the learning and capacity to talk to people, while building our network.

“I have worked in Birmingham for 30 years and I know the value of building your brand reputation here.”

The agency saw tangible benefits from being involved in the 2026 West Midlands Business Festival.

Anthony said: “From the 2026 events we have generated some new business leads and we got a spike in traffic to our website.

“More than 200 people registered in total, which has added to our database and we were happy with the engagement on social media, where our photos and content reached 50,000 people.

“For us, this wasn’t just about visibility. It was about demonstrating how we think about marketing – combining behavioural insight, strategy and creativity to drive results.

“We’ve already seen that translate into new conversations and opportunities.”
