The West Midlands Regional Defence & Security Cluster (WM RDSC) brings together industry, SMEs, academia, innovators, prime contractors and public sector partners to strengthen the region’s contribution to the UK defence and security landscape.

The West Midlands has a unique position as a major hub for defence, advanced manufacturing, engineering, cyber and digital capability, supported by world-leading universities and research centres.

The cluster supports organisations of all sizes to connect, collaborate and grow through stronger partnerships, supply chain engagement and access to defence-related opportunities. WM RDSC also acts as a regional voice for the sector, helping businesses engage with government, primes and key stakeholders across the defence ecosystem.
