About Local Enterprise Support
We are a central contact point for support and advice for small and medium-sized businesses and community enterprises in Birmingham. We bring business support close to our communities, using community venues and a delivery model that is accessible across the city, ensuring that help is available to everyone, including those who might not reach out through traditional channels. By working within communities and alongside local initiatives, our service strengthens the bridge between small businesses and enterprises and the wider economic development support ecosystem.
Birmingham’s local enterprise service represents a strong, local and foundational offer for business. Those businesses that offer clear high-growth and strategic potential will be proactively progressed into the Business Growth West Midlands High-Growth Service.
Our goal is simple: to help your business grow and succeed. We are fully-funded, independent and impartial, and our support is completely free to eligible businesses. Our highly experienced team understands business because many of our advisers have run their own companies or held senior industry roles.
We will provide local enterprise, enabling and readiness support across a wide range of areas, including pre-start up and start‑up and those seeking to grow or adapt their business.
